Leeds Trinity University

Initially established to train teachers for Catholic schools, Leeds Trinity University became a university college in 2009 and gained full university status in 2012. The university offers courses in various disciplines, including accounting, law, education, and photography, at undergraduate and graduate levels. Leeds Trinity is known for its strong networks with local businesses and media partnerships, including the BBC.
The university has a beautiful campus with eight halls of residence, a 24-hour library, laboratories, a media centre, and sports facilities. Small classes and a close-knit community ensure students are “a name, not a number.”
An active student union organizes events and supports mental health and well-being. Notable alumni include author Dorothy Koomson, CNN journalist Stephanie Busari, and TV director Julian Jarrold. Recently, the university has been enhancing its research capabilities.
